About Wizards.pro
Wizards.pro is a network of speculative fiction websites founded by Danilo Stern-Sapad on October 12, 2005. Since then we have endeavored to be the most extensive resource of science fiction and fantasy information on the net. As of yet we have only made small steps towards this goal, but strides we are taking, just take a glance at our two largest projects the Encyclopedia of Speculative Fiction and Author Wars.
What is speculative fiction?
When people say "speculative fiction" they normally mean science fiction or fantasy. Speculative fiction is essentially an umbrella term that encompasses a large number of genres that speculate about worlds significantly different from our own. Some of your favorite authors and books are part of this genre, even if you don't know it yet. Below is an alphabetical list of some of the most noted speculative fiction authors around.
